Nathan began as Development Director at Transgender Law Center in July, 2012.
With over eight years in the philanthropic development profession, Nathan has served Central Washington University’s Transforming Lives (a $20M fundraising capacity building campaign) and Brilliant Futures: A Campaign for the University of Illinois (a $2.25B campaign for the University of Illinois system). Stationed in the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Business Administration, Nathan directed annual fund operations and the Business Alumni Association. There, he also managed relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation scholarship funders to raise leadership philanthropic support from alumni and friends of the CBA.

In both organizations he worked closely with the board of directors and staff leadership to craft winning strategies in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and planned giving prospects and donors.
