Terrance Kayton Miller is among the many transgender leaders who have been attending the Transgender Leadership Summit for years. “Until the Summit, one thing I hadn’t quite found was my community,” he recalls. “That was a turning point for me – I not only acquired the tools I need to be among the many leaders creating a world free from discrimination, but I also found encouragement, hope and belonging.”
“Trans and Gender Non Conforming people have few opportunities to come together to share experiences, heal from the trauma of pervasive discrimination, and work together to create a better world,” said Kris Hayashi, Deputy Director of Transgender Law Center. “The power of this event to transform lives and create change cannot be overstated.”
The Transgender Leadership Summit will be held April 11-13th at California State University Northridge. Registration is $50 sliding scale no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
