Zoe is a transgender 7th grader from the Los Angeles area. Her mom Ofelia and her have been outspoken advocates for the School Success and Opportunity Act (SSOA or AB 1266), which ensures schools know their responsibility to make sure transgender students are able to fully participate at school.

Because of the SSOA Zoe is now able to be her true self at school and participate like all the other girls. Meanwhile, her mom is super supportive, and her words of encouragement just might make you cry!
