Transgender people are experts in our own experiences. The only way efforts to address issues faced by transgender and gender non-conforming people will work is if those efforts are directed by our expertise, our wisdom, and our leadership.
Right now, there are two critical opportunities to share your experiences to inform our movement’s future.
1. Take or share the Positively Trans survey!
Transgender Law Center’s Positively Trans (T+) is a constituent-led project grounded in the principle that we are all capable of forming our own network, telling our own stories, and developing our own advocacy strategies in response to inequities, stigma, and discrimination over punitive laws and lack of legal protections in our local communities.
The Positively Trans needs assessment survey is a place for trans and gender non-conforming people living with HIV to share their experiences with barriers, discrimination, and violence in health care, housing, employment, relationships, and community.
Participants have the option of entering a drawing for 8 Visa gift cards ($250, $100, or $50).
2. Share your vision for Our Tomorrow
Our Tomorrow is a place for LGBTQ people across the country to share our hopes, fears and ideas for the future, shape our movement, and help ensure a better reality for all people.
Think there should be more focus on trans justice in the LGBT movement? Want to share your priorities with funders and leaders? Fill out the Our Tomorrow Survey to help shape the movement’s future.
Everyone who completes a survey is entered for a chance to win a $250 Visa gift card.
